Year 1 pupils love colouring. They also like to talk about colours. By having these in mind, I relate colours for them to read.

Teachers can use this book to revise basic phonics. Teacher can too use this book to introduce sight words such as the, is and are, because these words are repeated several times.

I suggest it for performance level (PL) 1, 2 and 3.  PL 3 should be able to complete in a short of time whereas the weaker students need more intensive reading at school and home. I have targeted them to complete reading fluently before Pelaporan PBD in June.

Forgot to mention,  teacher perhaps can print it in colours so that it be attractive for them to read.
The pencil image is representing colours, therefore ask pupils to colour them before reading.

The small dots are made for finger pointing. When pupils excel reading a dot, they can colour it based on the colour topic.

Reward chart is given too. Stamp or put a sticker would be just fine.

15 KEGUNAAN POWERPOINT KEPADA GURU

POWERPOINT  memang power. Saya kumpulkan 15 penggunaan powerpoint dalam bidang perguruan. Jika tidak biasa, mungkin kita hanya sedar dua atau tiga penggunaan sahaja.

Suatu masa dahulu, saya hanya tahu buat slaid untuk taklimat dan menyediakan bahan bantu mengajar sahaja. Tak sempat nak explore. Tapi sekarang bolehlah buat pelbagai benda dengan POWERPOINT.

Nak tahu bagaimana saya tahu buat pelbagai bahan dengan powerpoint? kerana saya baru dapat tahu cara tukar slide size. Kesian kesian. Sebelum ini tak tahu.. hehehehe.. Apabila kita berjaya ubahsuai saiz slaid, kita boleh buat poster dan juga banner. Tidak dilupakan lembaran kerja, modul dan sebagainya.

Jom baca apa yang kita boleh buat dengan POWERPOINT. Lepas baca ni, cuba tau!

Nombor 1: Semua kita biasa buat.

Nombor 2: Buat muka depan buku atau apa sahaja. Jika pandai bermain dengan shapes dan font, bertambah cantiklah kulit buku anda.

Nombor 3- Lembaran kerja. Senang betul guna powerpoint.

Nombor 4: Lepas tahu kemahiran ini, mesti cikgu-cikgu akan buat modul sendiri. Sesuaikan dengan aras pelajar cikgu.

Nombor 5- Tahu buat ini lagi seronok. Lepas ini, anak murid cikgu terpegun tengok animasi cikgu buat.

Boleh juga upload dalam online converter tukar video ke gif.

Nombor 6- Jom buat video karaoke. Lepas tu upload di Youtube ataupun blog sendiri. Kena rajin sikit.

 Nombor 7 - Boleh sambung buat video gambar kahwin dulu. Cuma tidaklah segempak kesan menggunakan filmora. Biasa-biasa aja. 

Nombor 8- Kemahiran mengedit gambar. Cubalah.

 Nombor 9- Ini lah yang paling saya suka. Projek Inovasi dapat gold. Poster dihasilkan hanya menggunakan Powerpoint. Cuma kena tau saiz poster. Tukar saiz di slide size.

Nombor 10-  Nak buat kepala sijil, kepala surat pun boleh. Saya buat untuk sijil Tahap Penguasaan PBD keseluruhan.

Nombor 11- Kemahiran melukis gambar. Saya hanya mampu lukis yang mudah sahaja. Bakat melukis sama ada dengan tangan atau dengan komputer tidak muncul-muncul dulu kini dan selamanya.

Nombor 12- Kuiz interaktif. Kena tayangkan guna LCD. Letak sound effect mesti murid suka.

Nombor 13- BBM. Pasti murid akan tertarik dengan pelajaran yang disertai video dan gambar.

Nombor 14- Buat animated gifs. Kali ini, cikgu nak letak gambar sendiri pun boleh.

Nombor 15- Interaktif grafik untuk menarik minat pelajar

dalam gif, grafik itu akan bergerak. Ikut animasi yang kita pilih.

Ada tak penggunaan powerpoint yang belum tersenarai?Saya upload nota-nota di blog ini pun melalui fungsi save as PNG pada powerpoint.. Senang muatnaik. Kalau ada lagi yang tak dinyatakan, boleh tambah di komen.

Phonics book For English Year 1 (4 weeks) based on SOW Phonics

After several weeks, fuhhh.. Prefer to upload them on the blog so that easier for me to find and at the same time sharing with other teachers.

It has 48 pages, various activities for Year 1. You can choose the pages that suit you and your 'clients'.

I refer to Pupils Module Linus Book 1 as stated in the SOW Phonics. Should there any error, do inform me.

E LESSON PLAN TEMPLATE FOR ENGLISH & CIVIC EDUCATION YEAR 4 KSSR SEMAKAN (SK)

Year 4 English Teachers had been waiting for the documentations since they went to the course. Well, they are out then, Syllabus, SOW, and DSKP too.

I went through the SOW, I m impress of one of the post lesson, learning journal. In retrospect, my teacher conducted diary writing during my secondary school. Such activities really enjoyable for pupils as they can write anything and their teacher will not correcting them. (stated in the SOW)

Year 4 pupils also will be doing project based learning and literature part-Poem and novels (The King of Kites, The Jungle Book)
